The space of the
gallery becomes an opportunity to create affirmations of the feeling or
sensation Being. No trickery. Making the things that I want
to see and be around, to create opportunities for wonderful and
reaffirming experiences. A colorful geodesic dome made by many
hands out of cardboard; a space/refuge/shelter for conversations,
thinking, consideration, observation and imagination.
Visitors can freely enter and exit the dome, viewing into the dome
(analogous to the human head) from outside of it and looking out from
the inside.
Featherbeards,
made from paper cut by many hands, hang on the wall for
visitors to wear and enjoy. Drawings and collages of bodies,
caves and other things filled with color are present for others to
encounter in the gallery.
