My work focuses on the convergence between our conscious and subconscious thought. I attempt to offer a visual dialog, filled with images and text that connects one’s past with one’s present life. These images and their coupling have been placed together with the intention to provoke. They are intended to take you someplace deep in your own recess or perhaps to someplace current in your life, where all of the pieces are floating together just on the brink of forming a big picture. Ultimately, my work is about defining that very point when the subconscious has risen into your consciousness. It is at this point the true test emerges; do you, me, any of us, have enough strength to bear the full weight, the enormity of our own personal truths when we become conscious of them?
